• Toasted Ravioli

    Ingredients

    • 2 Eggs
    • 2 teaspoons Water
    • 2 cups Italian Style Bread Crumbs
    • 1 tablespoon Dry Italian Seasoning
    • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (Shredded)
    • 1 25 oz. bag of frozen Ravioli, thawed
    • 4 cups Oil for frying or better to use a deep fryer

    Note

    VARIATION:  Heat any of your favorite sauces for dipping as an appetizer.  I prefer Alfredo and Marinara.  You can also pour over Ravioli’s when preparing as a main dish and sprinkle your favorite shredded cheese.  Use cheese or beef Ravioli, those are the most common in grocery stores.  But any pre-made will do!!

    Directions

    Step 1
    In a small bowl, beat eggs and water together until well blended. Set aside.
    Step 2
    Combine all dry ingredients together for breading in medium bowl.
    Step 3
    Take each Ravioli and coat with egg mixture.
    Step 4
    Dredge each Ravioli in breading and place on greased foil or baking sheet. (For low fat diets, you can bake the Ravioli’s until golden brown or a temperature of 165*
    Step 5
    Heat oil in large skillet or deep fryer.
    Step 6
    Carefully add Ravioli, one at a time.
    Step 7
    Cook Ravioli until golden brown or 165*.
