• Brandied Cherry Cheese Crepes

    Ingredients

    • 1 Cherry Pie Filling, canned (20 oz)
    • 1/2 cup Cherry Brandy
    • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
    • 1/4 cup Butter
    • 6 tablespoons Whipped Cream Cheese
    • 6 Crepes
    • 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, melted (garnish)
    • 6 Maraschino Cherries

    Note

    Flambe’ style crepes: Spoon 1 tablespoon of brandy around crepe and quickly light with a long lighter or match. If you like your eyebrows, avoid standing over plate as the flames will shoot up.

    The amount of cream cheese, chocolate and crepes you use, is up to your preference. Is more better?? You decide…

    Directions

    Step 1
    Add the first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan. Simmer over medium-low heat for approximately 10-15 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
    Step 2
    Spread 1 tbl. whipped cream cheese over each crepe.
    Step 3
    Spoon 1/4 c. of cherry filling across the middle of each crepe. Roll or fold crepes.
    Step 4
    After plating your crepes, drizzle melted chocolate over each crepe and top with a cherry.
